So , there were speculations that the producers of THAPPAD will re-release the film on a new date once government removes the restrictions imposed on the theaters . The answer is NO because the digital rights of THAPPAD were sold to AMAZON PRIME VIDEO before the theatrical release of the film and digital premiere date of the film had already been finalized at that time
